Our Big Marketing Award Wins!
It’s been a big year for Letterpress! We’re thrilled to announce that that we earned a first-place national marketing award at the National Federation of Press Women’s (NFPW) Professional Communications Contest on June 22, 2024.
Additionally, Virginia Professional Communicators (VPC) honored us with three marketing awards at their spring conference in April, and the American Advertising Federation of Southwest Virginia (AAF) awarded us four Silver Addys this past March. First Place VPC: Marketing Campaign
This Expore Prince Edward County, VA, marketing campaign was funded by a $20,000 grant from Virginia Tourism Corporation’s Virginia Regional Marketing Program.

Second Place VPC: Google Ads Campaign
Given the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center's mission to provide professional and educational opportunities within Southern Virginia, the Google Ads campaign targeted individuals seeking undergraduate and graduate coursework with a special focus on workforce training and industry certifications.

American Advertising Federation of Southwest Virginia
The American Advertising Awards, organized by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), is the largest competition in the advertising industry, attracting over 25,000 entries annually. It operates on three tiers: local, district and national. Local winners advance to district competitions, and district winners move to the national stage. These marketing awards recognize and are judged solely on creative execution and excellence with Gold ADDYs representing the highest level of achievement and Silver ADDYs recognizing outstanding work. Silver ADDY: Integrated Branded Content Campaign
Remote work has created new definitions of work-life balance. Letterpress raised awareness about Green Front's new Work + Play department by highlighting the lifestyle surrounding remote work while emphasizing work-life balance. This integrated branded content campaign utilized targeted video, imagery and copy on broadcast channels, Green Front's website and social media channels, and signage.

Silver ADDY: Branded Content and Entertainment Campaign
The Visit Smyth County Video Series is a new take on highlighting a destination through their small businesses. Moving away from a traditional interview style, this series focused on key themes of Marion, VA, such as the live music, sweet treats, and outdoor family fun. We entered the series into the Film Video & Sound category as a Branded Content & Entertainment Campaign.

Silver ADDY: Integrated Brand Identity Campaign
A brand is so much more than a logo. We worked with PineCrest Assisted Living Facility to bring their brand to life with colors and fonts, a logo, photoshoot, and website. These elements were entered as a Cross-Platform Integrated Brand Identity Campaign.

Silver ADDY: Integrated Branded Content Campaign
We entered a series of three small business success stories as an Integrated Branded Content campaign. With a goal of highlighting Longwood SBDC (LSBDC) services and their clients, each story features a written article, short interview-style video, YouTube description and accompanying social posts. The stories of Sweet Heaven, CBP Behavioral Therapy & Advocacy Services and Artisan Alley joined a larger collection of LSBDC success stories.
