A Message From Our Leadership

Letterpress Leadership 2025 - Jenn, Alex, and Lyndsie

Dear Friends and Partners,

2025 was a milestone year — and we’re feeling all the momentum!

We marked our 10th birthday with community celebrations, welcomed new faces to our team and opened our newest office in Marion, Virginia. More than just a regional expansion into Southwest Virginia and Tennessee, this move deepens our commitment to rural storytelling, place-based strategy and collaborative growth. We’re also proud to share that our work earned national recognition this year with first-place awards for advertising and social media campaigns that showcase our community-powered approach.

Thanks to you, our footprint is growing. So is our impact. Every project, partnership and story we tell reflects the good we believe in.

Here’s to more growth, more collaboration and more powerful good in the year ahead.

With gratitude,

Celebrating a Decade of
Community-Powered Marketing

Letterpress Birthday Party Collage

From Farmville to Danville to Marion, we marked 10 years of community-powered marketing with the people and places who made it all possible. Hear from our founder, Ilsa Loeser, as she shares how Letterpress grew from a one-woman show to a mission-driven team rooted in rural stories, creative collaboration and powerful good.

New Roles and New Faces

Jenn Kinne

Jennifer Kinne, Director of Community Success

Cheers to Jenn, our first-ever Director of Community Success! From contractor to account executive to social media manager, Jenn has worn many hats at Letterpress — and now she’s wearing the one that fits her best. A true connector and cheerleader, Jenn brings people and ideas together. In her new role she’ll lead the individuals and processes that power our work, helping clients strengthen authentic relationships and build deeper connections within their communities.

Karyn Keane

Karyn Keane, Social Media Manager

Karyn’s in her social era — and bringing the strategy to match. From contracted writer to account executive, Karyn has long been a creative force on the Letterpress team. In her new role as social media manager, she’s applying that energy full time to building meaningful engagement across platforms, staying on top of trends and strengthening online communities. Bonus points: She’s a Longwood English grad just like our founder Ilsa!

David Robinson

David Robinson, Account Executive & Web Developer

After years of admiring his work, we were thrilled to officially welcome David Robinson to the team in July as a part-time account executive and web developer. A longtime collaborator and founder of Birch Studio, David brings decades of experience as a creative technologist: blending design, branding and technical expertise to build websites that connect and inspire. Based in Charlottesville, he’s already making a powerful impact across our client work.

Chad Thompson

Chad Thompson, Account Executive

This August we officially welcomed Chad Thompson as a full-time account executive, and he’s hit the ground running! With over 15 years of marketing experience, including eight focused on rural tourism, Chad has supported 150+ tourism organizations across 19 counties, 53 towns and four cities. His regional expertise, storytelling instincts and knack for scroll-stopping short-form video make him a perfect fit for our community-powered approach.

Jonathan Fields

Jonathan Fields, Account Executive

Some people just get what we’re about — and Jonathan Fields is one of them! This September we welcomed him to the team as a full-time account executive. Jonathan brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing, communications and regional storytelling with a focus on initiatives that build strong local connections. His work spans campaign strategy, content creation and video production for mission-driven organizations, including the United Way of Greater Kingsport. Based in Johnson City, Tennessee (just over an hour from our Marion office), Jonathan is helping expand our community roots across Southwest Virginia and the Tri-Cities.
