“My advice to other disabled people would be, concentrate on things your disability doesn’t prevent you doing well, and don't regret the things it interferes with. Don’t be disabled in spirit, as well as physically.” — Stephen Hawking (1942–2018)
I help clients share their stories through website design and content management. My focus is on crafting engaging online experiences that resonate with audiences. With 10 years under my belt at Letterpress, I have honed my skills in web development, website optimization and technical support. I'm passionate about community partnerships and bringing stories to life through digital platforms.
My approach is collaborative and creative, driven by the desire to help businesses and individuals effectively communicate their messages. I believe that a well-designed website is more than just a digital presence; it's a powerful storytelling tool that can connect, inform and inspire. I work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into a functional and aesthetically pleasing online experience.
I’m a proud lifelong resident of Prince Edward County and have an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology from Southside Virginia Community College.
A Few Things I’m Proud Of
- Led creation of Letterpress Communications’ custom-built website, crafted from the ground up to reflect our brand and capabilities.
- Developed a website for Family of Hands, designed to reflect their mission and make services easily accessible.
- Supported development of the new Longwood Center for the Visual Arts website, helping deliver a more engaging and user-friendly experience.
Just For Fun
When I’m not busy with IT work, I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, volunteering as a rare disease patient advocate, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Hampden-Sydney Tigers.
